CEAS Student Clubs and Organizations

The College of Engineering & Applied Sciences Undergraduate Student Office is home to 21 student organizations. There are many benefits for students in the CEAS who become involved in one of these organizations such as:

Professional Development

Many of these organizations hold focused events that allow students to interact with professional members of their student chapters, potential employers, and faculty members.

Leadership Opportunities

Taking an active role in a student organization will give you the opportunity to learn valuable leadership and team-work skills. These skills are directly translatable to work you will do upon graduation.

Connections to National Organizations

Being a member of a student organization can open a door to involvement with a professional, national, or international chapter of the organization. Building your extended network through this involvement can be instrumental in landing you an internship or job.

Apply Classroom Knowledge

Many of these organizations offer students the opportunity to gain hands-on skills beyond what is offered in lecture and laboratory classes.
