Weisen Shen, PhD

 Weisen Shen is an Associate Professor of Geophysics in the Department of Geosciences at Stony Brook University. His research uses geophysical observations to image Earth structure and understand tectonic, cryospheric, groundwater, and energy-related processes. He also develops geophysical sensing systems for remote and extreme environments, including polar regions, and works on integrating geoscience observations with autonomous sensing and energy technologies.
