Jane E. Yahil, PhD.

Senior Coordinator for Economic Development

Jane holds the position of Senior Coordinator for Economic Development in the office of the V.P. Economic Development at Stony Brook University. She works with the units that engage in initiatives that link University research and newly developed technologies to industry. These include: coordinating projects sustaining participation in the region’s principal business organizations (State of NY and regional); promoting university-industry collaborations; and providing support in the development of the Advance Energy Center; the Center for Wireless Technology, the High Technology Incubators, etc.

Prior to this appointment Jane served for fourteen years as Assistant V.P for Health Sciences at Stony Brook University, and before that she served for eight years as Senior Assistant to two university presidents at Stony Brook.
