Add a GLI focus to your MA in another discipline

The "Competence in Globalization" focus is a new microcredential that you can obtain through GLI in order to make your MA more marketable.

You can earn a Master of Arts with a Focus in Globalization Studies and International Relations with one of the following MA programs:

• Africana Studies
• Asian & Asian-American Studies
• English
• Languages & Cultural Studies
• Hispanic Languages & Literature
• History

CAPACITY BUILDING FOR GRASSROOTS WOMEN IN CLIMATE ACTION THROUGH STORYTELLING

Thursday, 24^th August, 2023

As is increasingly evident through changing seasonal and weather patterns, climate change is one of the greatest environmental challenges of our time. It impacts everyone everywhere and has resulted in devastating impacts, such as loss of viable agricultural lands and biodiverse ecosystems. One way to build a climate change response - at the grassroots and global level - is by documenting women's climate change adaptation stories. 

Capturing the stories of women who are empowered because of newly acquired technical expertise has multiple benefits, from introducing new ways for both men and women to work together, to helping the public learn more about how women become empowered by taking on leadership roles and providing a baseline for how women's narratives change over time.
