Taylor Baldwin began working as a Contracts Officer at Stony Brook in January 2023, but his Stony Brook roots extend further than that. He attended Stony Brook University as an undergraduate student from 2015 to 2019 and graduated with a B.A. in Political Science. Following his graduation from Stony Brook, Taylor attended the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law from 2019 to 2022. He was admitted to the New Hampshire State Bar in 2022 after graduating from law school and passing the New Hampshire Bar Exam, and he returned to Long Island to start work in his current position as a Contracts Officer shortly thereafter.

As a Contracts Officer, Taylor is responsible for negotiating CDAs and MTAs on behalf of Stony Brook faculty and staff. He also is responsible for reviewing and revising the Intellectual Property language in commercial agreements. Taylor also processes agreements for other parts of Economic Development, such as the facilities-use permits for our incubators at our University's Centers of Excellence.

Taylor is passionate about his work and eager to help strengthen the relationship between our faculty and industry.
