Nurture - From Waste to Harvest

Benjamin Hsiao, Distinguished Professor of Chemistry at Stony Brook University, and Darren Martin, University of Queensland in Australia, have collaborated to create a low cost fertilizer to reduce food waste. Nurture's zero waste approach zero waste approach creates a circular system to generate efficiencies, reduce pollution, and combat climate change.

After years of research and interviewing hundreds of farmers, Nurture has developed methods for developing biomass and biogels that are safer and faster than traditional composting methods, whilehelping crops retain water in areas susceptible to drought.
